The Swedish furniture giant Ikea offers its products online in many countries, and next year Belgium will join the list. The company announced that it will launch a new online shop for Belgian consumers in 2017 in an overall effort to expand its web business into all markets, writes De Tijd.
The biggest news to come from Ikea Belgium this month is not its two new stores in Hasselt and Mons, but its plan to offer its products online. In the course of 2017, it will therefore be possible for Belgian shoppers to order IKEA products online, and collect them from their local Ikea store.
IKEA will also expand its number of collection points across Belgium, especially in major cities such as Antwerp, Brussels and Ghent.
