Belgian children have already received gifts during this night however Saint Nicholas is still busy. He is going to hand out sweets and chocolates in Brussels’ public transport network on Tuesday.
The STIB says Saint Nicholas will spend most of 6 December on trams and metros in the city, thanking passengers of all ages for using public transport.
He will set off from the Gare de l’Ouest at 8.15 towards De Brouckère, jump on a tram one stop to Rogier at 9.00 and then take a metro to Porte de Hal.
Other stop-offs on his itinerary are Arts-Loi, Maelbeek and Gare Centrale metro stations, before he calls it a day at about 16.00.
